Scraplift challenge submissions

Here is the layouts I have done recently for Two Peas in a Buckets members Jump Start January Scraplift Challenge (JSJSC) the link to the original post with week one challenges and rules here

Thursday Jan 1st----Card by Aliscrap23 Love the color combo and layering of this card.

SUDS: I am not impressed with how this came out. I do not totally hate it but I do think it could look better. Ah well sometimes you just have to stop and accept a layout for what it is. This is my submission for Jan 1st and used stripe in place of the cut out scallop

Friday, Jan 2nd----Card by Davinie This one may spark two projects from me. I can see a card OR a layout coming from this.

2gether: This is my submission for jan 2nd. I used the circles and the shortened word as inspiration for my page.

Saturday, Jan 3rd----Card by Jackie~G Another card that would also be a great layout.

Laugh & Explore: I realize now with this layout I did not do journaling but plan on it by adding white lines and text. This is my submission for jan 3rd and my inspiration I used is the circle and a glittery title. And the stars with the grid paper.

I did do Jan 4th which was a home wall hanging project but forgot in my hurry to give it to a church friend forgot to take a picture -- too bad it was cute lol

.

January 5th---2009 card by Flamsaro This is one of those that would be a cute card OR page.

Snow 2009:This is my submission for jan 5th I like how this turned out. I lifted the core of the card turned it into a layout. I just realized it should say 2008 lol I will need to change that :D

The next two layouts are for the same day. It is a two pager.

January 6th---Kathy T's blackriver cards These cards would be great to use up your scraps. Either do a set showcasing your favorite paper line, or make a set to give as a gift?

This is my Jan 6th submission for JSJS challenge. The element I took was using a favorite paper line. This is Fancy Pants Artic chill. I love the bright yet muted colors in this line. I still have to complete the title for the large snoflake paper I am going to paint some chipboard letters white and spell out Winter Playground. And I might stickle the large snowflake I have featured on the page. But who knows when I will get a chance. I need to make a point to buy the white paint. I am out.

I LOVE this layout and infact it looks like a peice of art to me. I know all layouts are art but some turn out so well you want to really display them so I am debating on getting a frame for this one.

January 7---Bliss by Cobb809 Loved the circles surrounding the pic and the title on top of the pic.

This layout is my Jan 7th lift. I took most of the elements of Cobb809's original layout and tweaked it a little. I also added a poem by Robert Francis as the journaling. Artic chill fancy pants papers were used on this layout.

I still have the rest of last week and this week planned out as far as which elements and layouts (this week we could pick our own by using different Garden Girl seeds) So stay tuned :D lol
