Lastest work and This Saturday Plans

This is a mini book I have made for my best friend in MN. It is pics from our recent family photo shoot at JC Penney. And done with material from an add-on kit from Life Perserver scrapbooking kits. I think I should have not done the stickles flower on the bottom but once dried can't really take it off. :D

Journaling Junie had a challenge (#55) where you were to do a layout using a sequence of photos. I just happen to run across these old photos going through a photo box and had just gotten this paper from Personal Scrapper. It was perfect. lol. I don't usually brag on my work but I like how this one came together.

Here is the last of the Halfway Cafe. Nothing left but one slip of patterned paper! And a few brads I didn't need after all.

I am WAY WAY WAY excited to be going to an all day crop this Saturday.

Here is the agenda:

And the email detailing the days vendors, food, and general info.

I am sending this to the e-mails of those who ordered the tickets ... if you need to forward to a family member or friend that you ordered for, please feel free to shard. We're not sending out hard tickets, you can just check in under your last name. If you ordered for multiple people, they can check in under your last name as well. For example, my list will say - Louzader, Chris; Louzader, Chris (guest 1), Louzader, Chris (guest 2). Don't forget to check in so you can receive your goody bag from Scrapbook Generation! Doors will open at 8:30am. If you'd like help unloading your vehicle ... go ahead and drive up to the orange cones ... there will be 3 to 4 Star/Bass on air personalities that we should put to work :-) helping you to carry your goodies/supplies!! As for seating, it is really hard to have a seating chart for SO many croppers, so, I suggest a person or two from your group arrive and save seats for the number that you will need. Hopefully ladies will not leave a bunch of gaps, so we can fit all croppers in :-). We will have some extension cords and power strips available for electrical needs. Scrapbook Generation will have a store on site for your shopping pleasure as well. We'll have a few vendors on hand to take a look at while you stretch your legs. If you need a quickie chair massage, we'll have that too!! We'll have tons of bottled water, a variety of sodas, and iced tea throughout the day!! Sinatra's Coffee will be on site selling some of their delicious brews :-) !! Our menu for the day provided Dining By Design is: Breakfast ... breakfast pastries and fruitLunch ... turkey and cheddar sandwiches, potato chips, tossed green salad with ranch OR raspberry-walnut vinaigrette, and chocolate chip cookiesDinner ... Parmesan crusted chicken breast, strawberry-spinach salad, fresh baked rolls w/ sweet cream butter, and lemon squares An exciting addition to Scrap-A-Palooza is a chocolate fountain provided by The Total Bride with ALL sorts of goodies to dip and delight!! And, of course there will be a nut and M&M mixture sporadically throughout the day AND, maybe even a little late afternoon pizza surprise :-) !!

The countdown is on -- just three more days! Three more days of planning and packing which is half the fun for me!!

And I am still waiting on three packages in the mail to make the time perfect. My LPS kit, a Lime Rickey kit from a new kit club place, and MY AWESOME SLICE. It looks to be delivered on Thursday... UPS don't fall me now. lol :D
