There are a lot of Cricut cartridges I would like especially since I now have the computer program that welds the images together. No more individual glueing....

PS Layout a day challenge 14th through 20th
SO I am slowly doing these challenges. I would have more done but I forgot to bring my colored cardstock to my folks and I am too lazy to go to my house and get it. I am going to make a point to bring it tomorrow after cleaning some more. But this is what I have managed to do so far...
October 14th Challenge: October general challenges
I chose the first one listed which was to use the words trick or treat in a layout.
you can't see the title and I am going to re-do it over white cardstock anyway it says "Easter Treats" all done with PS october kit.
October 15th entry done with ps oct kit did not fit challenge of the day.
October 16th Challenge: use your oldest ps kit
This is my oldest as I use them in the same month I get them again done with ps october kit
October 17th Challenge: Sports. Scrap something sports related: baseball, soccer, taekwondo, basketball, running - you name it and scrap it!
This is from the Cubs game in DSM. Again done with ps october kit paper which is Crate paper lemongrass and embellishments
October 18th was a scrapper's choice so no official extra challenge other then to do a layout.
October 19th I did not do the extra challenge part which was a scrap lift This was done with ps october add on crate paper prudence
October 20th Challenge: Use more than 4 pictures on a page (if it is a 2 pager - use more than 8 pictures). I managed to get 9 photos in the two pager and it doesn't look too crowded so I am pretty proud of them :D

What am I suppose to do with this??
So here is the before of my new scrapbook room. It is a disaster right now. Previously it was a plant growing room but I have lots of ideas to make it the perfect Mom of three boys get away. I want this to be the first room I get in order in the new house but everyone else things I am nuts with poor priorities. GRRR :D

Croptoberfest 10th, 11th, 12th
These are my next three layouts I have done for PS octoberfest.
October 10th Challenge: no pattern paper
Use only cardstock as your background (no patterened paper) and use as many embellishments as you want. I used Bazzill cardstock (not sure what color), Prima flowers, and misc brads and metal letters.
October 11th Challenge: scallops
Use scalloped paper on your page
This layout was done with PS October add on kit. It includes Crate Paper Prudence papers, I added the Bazzill myself, Prudence glitter strip and Crate Paper prudence rub-on.
October 12th Challenge: Birthdays
In honor of my grandma's birthday yesterday the challenge today is all about birthdays. Create a layout, birthday cards or even birthday party favors!
This is from my Son's birthday. I can't remember who makes the paper but it is from the Play line. And the rest is Misc items
Since I am moving this week I am not sure how much more I will get done but I am a sucker lately for a challenge. I plan on taking some of my basic items with me to my folks. (The boys and me are going down early to clean the house before we offically move in.) So I do plan on getting some in. We will see though. :D

Personal Scrapper (www.personalscrapper.com) is having a lay out a day (l.o.a.d) contest. Since I am moving I am not sure if I can do all 31 but am trying to keep up. I have so far managed one a day. This is from the Zany Zinnia kit KI paper and the alphas are left over from another kit not sure who makes them.

Hey - We all love sketches so I am bringing back the sketch that Becky Fleck designed for us earlier this year :)
For this layout I used the new PS October kit. It has the Crate Paper line Lemongrass along with the glitter borders and die cut. The alpha is S.E.I Ally's wonderland orange and the ribbon is from Creative Impressions.
October 8th Challenge: Make a List
Use a list on today's layout! It can be any kind of list that you want!
Again on this I used bazzil as the background paper along with KI paper, Bazzill flowers, American Crafts glitter cardboard alphas, and AC journaling stickers from the Zany Zinnia kit.

Latest pages -- done during online crop
I am a member of Personal Scrapper kit club. I love thier kits. THe price is going up so not sure if I can afford to keep it after this year. I hope so. Anyway about every other month they have an online crop so I almost always participate in it. Later I will post the specific challenges and the title of the ones that go wtih it.

It has been awhile.

I tried to embed it but I guess I don't know how. These were done at Archivers last night and they were awesome they let me have this room all to myself so I could plug in my laptop and watch movies. I did 21 pages. Most were from my most recent personal scrapper club kit and add on kit. It is from all Fall mostly.
Ok well I am going to try to work out this embedding stuff and with more time on my hands hopefully won't take so long to be back. :D

Once again it has been forever and a day :D
But I have been busy... I combined my office room with my scrapbooking room as we might put my oldest in the other room upstairs. I am hoping saturday to make it beautiful enough to post pics of :D
But I did want to show what i discovered I could use with my cricut (btw I got the larger expression machine and LOVE IT!! )
I bought some flashing tape from the hardware aisle (very inexpensive) and cut metal looking letters with the cricut. It is a nice dramatic effect please see pics below.
The other two pics are of how the roll comes when you buy it.. you can't make a two big of a letter but a decent size and in general how big do you need your letters for title to be :D
I will post more this weekend hopefully... (cross your fingers lol )

Sorry it has been SOOO long!!
But then again if I had a fan base it would mean more :D lol
Ok so since last time I have gotten three new cricut fonts so excited about that. I think I want mini monograms next and am trying to tell myself I don't want the expressions cricut (But I do becasue it can make those scallop edges I am currently in love with) It is too expensive!!
I have done some lay outs and will post them below...

Two new canvas'
Ok I finally completed them... I think they turned out well but could have been better.. I don't like the chipboard embellies used but they are not hideous (thankfully I am not a perfectionist!! ) I wish I could figure out how to get them to the side instead of below...??
I made a mini book for a co-worker
Who's son just came back from Iraqi.. there were a few more pages but the cover and these two pages were my favorite...Ok it has been awhile
Though I really don't have a following and it is mainly for myself so I guess I that is ok :D There are no adoring fans to be disappointed....
I have down a few projects I will post soon but mainly I want to put down a couple thoughts...
1) this is some major items I want to buy... (I add them here so I can stay focused)
A. the Bind it All @ 60.00 retail
B. a tonic cutter @ 45.00 retail
C. a blade thing.. I can't think of it right now but it is by ek success and it does stencils shapes and you look down the tube
D. A glass mat
Ok I think that is it for now...
Next is a petty vent... why is it that I do these projects for people and no one returns any kind of favor... and/or makes a minimal to do... I must say that yes I do it because I like too but also to be adored upon.. it is very irrititating to me... but maybe it is just me and I am selfish person... MAYBE both!! :D

Official challenge
Ok I just thought to challenge myself. I was watching videos on crafttvweekly.com and they were showing page planners and things of that nature and I want to use up a lot of my stash... so I am thinking of just making a bunch of lay outs then finding pics to go with them.... as I have a lot to pick from should not be any problem... I plan on starting this weekend. Wish me luck and I will totally keep you posted...
